During the first part of December, we shared our #12DaysofScholarships on our social channels to help students find ways to pay for college. Below is a complete list of all those scholarships.

Day 1: Science Ambassador Scholarship (deadline past)
Women and girls who are seeking to pursue an undergraduate degree in technology, engineering, or math should apply for this scholarship.
Amount: Varies

Day 2: Utah School Counselor Association Scholarship (deadline past)
High school seniors are asked to write an essay about a school counselor who had a positive impact on their life – the winner gets a scholarship and your counselor gets recognized, too!
Amount: $500

Day 3: Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program
High school senior athletes who demonstrate leadership on and off the field are welcome to apply for this award.
Amount: $5,000/year for 4 years of college

Day 4: Hope for Healing Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to encourage more bright, young students to pursue careers in mental health and addiction treatment.

Day 5: 10 Things You Love About You Scholarship
This is another quick and easy application – students ages 13 and up only need to write a list of 10 reasons they deserve this scholarship.
Amount: $1,500

Day 6: The National WWII Museum Essay Contest
Students in 5th grade and above who wish to apply for this scholarship are required to write an essay about what the duty of art and artists should be during times of war and conflict.

Day 7: Unigo $10K Scholarship
This is another short and easy application! Students ages 13 or over can apply for this scholarship by responding (in 250 words or less) to this essay prompt: “Imagine a historical figure is brought back to life. Who is it? What’s their favorite mobile app?”

Day 8: Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship
This scholarship requires a personal statement (or essay in response to a prompt) and is open to 9th-12th grade and current college students.

Day 9: Girls Impact the World Film Festival Scholarship
High school and undergraduate students (of all genders) are asked to submit a short film (3-6 minutes) highlighting a critical issue facing women and girls.
Amount: $1,000-$5,000

Day 10: Digital Privacy Scholarship
All high school grade levels can apply for this scholarship, which is designed to help students address the negative effects of too much screen time.

Day 11: Army Women’s Foundation Legacy Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for women who are currently or were formerly in the Army or their children.
Amount: $1,000-$2,500

Day 12: Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship
This program assists high school seniors who have completed an advanced computer science course and plan to continue their education at a four-year college or university in the major of computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or any other computer-related field of study.

This year, four major scholarships offered from the State of Utah have been updated. These scholarships include two academic, one new need-based scholarship, and one teaching scholarship.
